Subject: Southwest Florida Code Camp 9/13: Call for speakers

Greetings, Devs!

Southwest Florida Code Camp is on for 9/13 at:

Lutgert Hall – the Lutgert School of Business
Florida Gulf Coast University
Estero, FL

We’ll be starting at 8 in the morning with keynote, and hope to have swag given out and the venue closed by 6pm that night.

Speaker Pub Club is on for Friday, 9/12 from 5:30pm – location to be determined.

We are calling for Speakers along Six Tracks:
ASP.Net
Sharepoint
Silverlight
Foundations (WPF, WCF, WF, etc.)
SQL
Miscellaneous (whatever doesn't otherwise fit)

We will also have Open Space available throughout the day for shorter-duration/impromptu presentations.

This is our first shot – expect proceedings to be extremely raw, and I’d be tickled if we even hit 200 people in attendance. Prepare accordingly. Registration is at http://www.swfldev.net.

When you register, checking the box to Register as Speaker will allow you to access a second panel of information where you can enter your bio, blog address, and topic introduction. For now, indicate your desired track in a text field, or we can hook it up for you. We’ll put you in a track and get you a confirmation when you’ve been approved.

I can tell you that the entirety of the Naples/Ft. Myers Technological Corridor is stepping up for this one, and I couldn’t be happier about it. We’ll have some fun, and we can’t wait to see you there.

Thank you very much,
John Dunagan
