IndigoRoadShow - Fort Lauderdale Report - Aug 10, 2005

Stellar event in Ft. Lauderdale last night. Rich Turner and Ami Vora from the Indigo, er ah Windows Communication Framework came all the way to Florida. The RoadShow was a sell-out event with over 320 people registered. Thanks to the various user groups and INETA for helping to let folks know about the event. Each attendee received the Indigo book, DVD, and an Indigo "collectors edition" tshirt. Sharpies will be issues to scratch out Indigo and re-label them WCF.

IndigoRoadShow was a user group tour by the product team. On the eval forms, we asked the users to list which user groups they were associated with. Here's the breakout of what user groups folks said they were associated with. Double voting counts. I'll be ordering FlaDotNet a box of books for their next meeting as they came the closest to winning the user group contest!

Ami and a full house! Guess no one wants to sit with Rich on the front row.

Rich fires up the Ferrari...

Ami and Rich take a well earned post event libation. Is that really an umbrella in his scotch?

Microsoft Event Team - Jeff Barnes, Rich Turner, Ami Vora, and Joe Healy

A special thanks to Alex, Sherv, JoeHo, Morgan, Paul, Raul, David S, and the various other user group staff who helped us get this event going. I think the Florida Developer community made a great statement about how South Florida is a kick butt place to hold events!

Gulf States developers rock!
