Here are DevFish's Florida entries for the 11/17/2008 MSDN Flash. Exact same goodies I sent to the flash publishers. "got .NET goodies" you would like to see in the MSDN Flash? Send me a note at jhealy@microsoft.com. Note: I won't advertise 'pay-for' training classes, sorry. What? You don't subscribe to the MSDN Flash? Then how do you keep up with all the cool developer events in the great state of Florida? Go here for the MSDN Flash subscription: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/flash/default.aspx

Devfish’s Corner

The Professional Developer Conference (PDC) this year was quite a show. The PDC provided a great forward look at a number of topics including Cloud Services, Windows Presentation Foundation F#, C#, and Visual Basic futures, Visual Studio "Oslo", the Live Framework, Mesh Services, VSTS 2010, Data Services, and Parallel Programming.  I know tons of folks who wish they could have been there, but couldn’t quite swing the trip from Florida to Los Angeles to attend in person.  Soooo, here’s some good news for you if you didn’t make it to the PDC.  We’re hosting a MSDN Developer Conference in Orlando on December 11th.  All the essentials from the PDC, and even more, will be covered. For more info on the event checkout the post at http://www.devfish.net/fullblogitemview.aspx?blogid=609 . If you are a MSDN Flash, DevFish blog or twitter reader, and you are going to the MSDN DevCon, let me know.  I’m going to have a special social that night, and will enter everyone who responds to jhealy@microsoft.com in a raffle for some tickets to the social.  Hope to see you there.

Joe Healy, a.k.a. the DevFish, is the developer evangelist for Florida. He enjoys fishing, games, writing .NET code, and playing with girls, Ryan and Morgan. Visit his blog, or send him e-mail.
